Population Bug

If you drop population and there is already at least 60000M for that race on the planet, it will automatically drop to 60000M for that race. It may grow past 60000M if there is room, but that's it.Challenge Space Yard 21:06, 10 August 2006 (BST)

No point spillover : Bug or feature lack?

"0. Ressource build points don't get carried over to the next item in the construction queue, even if there is enough of them to build the next item (NxUnits count as one item)."

I was insisting more on the fact that you can't put your new planet on emergency, and use those 3000 points to build 2 facilities per turn, since you CAN'T add 2 facilities, but are forced to add them one by one. This makes even less sense than "remaining points (that are NOT sufficient to build next item in queue) are not carried over to the next item" (the system I thought SE4 was using, I had quite a surprise...) BTW I found that it adds some flavor to the game, since if you have a bonus in construction, you'll tend to build bigger ships, whereas in SEV you could just build more small ships. It's annoying from the micromanagement perspective though...--BlueTemplar 16:23, 3 April 2008 (EDT)


Nothing you say is necessarily untrue; its just not a bug, and not really appropriate for a bug list. Construction in SE4 works exactly as it was designed. Fyron 18:38, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
