Space Empires Wiki Categories Discussion

Talk here about changes and additions to Space Empires Wiki categories.

Could someone with admin privilages update the Special:Categories page to include a link pointing back to Categories so that users can contribute to discussions on expanding the category list? I can't seem to edit that special page even thought I have sysop privilages. Inigma 15:11, 15 October 2005 (BST)

FAQ Category

I say we should create Category:FAQ. That way on the shipset page describing how to make shipsets, we just add the FAQ category to it so it can be referenced easier. Read my post in Talk:Article Naming Conventions for more info. After reading my post there, what do you think we should do with this FAQ page? Rename FAQ to FAQs I've renamed FAQ to FAQs since Mods is not Mod, and besides, it sounds better. Inigma 06:27, 16 October 2005 (BST)

Encyclopedia Category

I propose creation of Category:Encyclopedia to be the category to include all generic articles on "universal" Space Empires subjects such as Malfador Machinations, Play By Web, Space Empires, Mineral Miner etc. Game-specific or user-specific subjects would not qualify. Thoughts? Is this too "category happy"? Inigma 06:42, 16 October 2005 (BST)

External Links or Links Category

I propose creation of Category:External Links so that SEWiki pages for specific external links can be categorized and referenced. What do you think? Play By Web follows as an example so far. Inigma 06:46, 16 October 2005 (BST)
