I don't know if things move faster with multiple converters, but a note saying whether or not that's the case would be good to have. --Sandstig 20:09, 17 July 2006 (BST)

I know they do not stack in the sense that 2 will get the job done twice as fast, but I do not recall what happens if you build a second, more advanced facility after the first one is built, but before the time is up for the conversion. Does it keep the same starting date, but finish it faster as if the more advanced facility was built first? Does it keep separate counters? Fyron 07:44, 24 July 2006 (BST)
After just testing this, it appears that replacing an outdated atmosphere converter during the process of atmosphere conversion causes it to end after the new facility's time is up. At 2400.7, an Atmosphere Converter I was constructed, meaning that it should be completed at 2403.7. I waited until about 2402 and upgraded it to Atmosphere Converter III. Sure enough the conversion finished at 2402.7.
