Ring Worlds and Sphere Worlds (SEV)

In order to build Ring Worlds and Sphere Worlds, you first need at least level 80 in stellar manipulation. This will give you access to the components: Hyper-Dense Cables, Planetary Gravity Plating, Ring World Placement Generator, and Sphere World Placement Generator. Each of these components take up 2,000 kT of space, so you would need a baseship to move these into place.

  • To build a Ring World: you need 5 baseships with one Hyper-Dense Cables each, 5 baseships with one Planetary Gravity Plating each, and one baseship with a Ring World Placement Generator (11 baseships total). [Requirements: The solar system you wish to build in must have only one star, everything within 6 sectors will be destroyed upon completion (except warp points, those will be moved), no other vehicles/stellar constructions/colonies can be present within 6 sectors (system for the stellar constructions), all vehicles involved in the construction of the Ring World will be gone afterward.] Move all 11 baseships to one sector away from the star, use the stellar construction command on the star, and you're done.
  • To build a Sphere World: you need 10 baseships with one Hyper-Dense Cables each, 10 baseships with one Planetary Gravity Plating each, and one baseship with a Ring World Placement Generator (21 baseships total). [Requirements: The solar system you wish to build in must have only one star, everything within 6 sectors will be destroyed upon completion (except warp points, those will be moved), no other vehicles/stellar constructions/colonies can be present within 6 sectors (system for the stellar constructions), all vehicles involved in the construction of the Ring World will be gone afterward.] Move all 21 baseships to one sector away from the star, use the stellar construction command on the star, and you're done.
  • Notes Even though the Ring World(s) and the Sphere World(s) have been built, they still need to be colonized. A trick for this is to keep a colony ship on the outer edge of the system. I'm not sure if the stellar constructions are type Rock, Ice, or Gas Giant, because i think its changed by the natural planet type you start with. (I usually do type Rock, so the stellar constructions are type Rock) Ring Worlds house 32 billion and Sphere Worlds house 64 billion each; Ring Worlds house about 100,000 kT of planet space and Sphere Worlds house about 200,000 kT of planet space (I'm still unsure about the in-orbit space, where you put bases and weapon platforms).
