Phong
The Phong are a race of yellow skinned, angular-headed humanoids with bulging eyes. They are one of the stock races that come with Space Empires IV.
The Phong like Carbon dioxide rock worlds, and they use Crystalline technology in their ship construction. They are generally quite placid, and not considered one of the more challenging AI opponents.
Jokes are sometimes made in the SE community about players starting to look like a Phong as a result of sleep deprivation, having stayed up all night playing SE...

The Phong Confederation is lead by their Chancellor Gerath. Their society emphasizes hard work, and possibly as a result, they are made happy by peaceful growth and have an honorable demeanor.

Biological Description
The Phong are definitely humanoid in appearance, but their bodies contain a number of non-organic properties. Their polymer composed skin makes them resistant to adverse conditions. They stand roughly 2 meters tall and have an average lifespan of 30 years. They are most at home when mining deep underground.
Society Description
The Phong society is dedicated to work. Their populations are most happy when vigorously working. They excel at mining and refining radioactive materials. Their society is grouped into different working guilds which are all governed by the high chancellor.
General History
The Phong's history is a relatively peaceful one. Most of their differences they solve through some kind of working arrangement. The few wars they have been engaged in were mainly due to other races wanting to obtain their Crystallurgy technology. This advanced technology has allowed the Phong to resist attempts at subjugation.
