How to Join a Game
Click on "SEV games" in the text-based PBW, and look out for "Game Open" and "Replacement player needed" (watch out for "dead games", that were not updated for a long time). Then click on Join Game or Take Over Empire.
After you were accepted, you'll have to either send your empire (.emp file in SavedEmpires folder - watch out for Tech Cost, Tech Points, and Racial Points when creating your Empire, also of course check the game version/mod used), or directly "Get Turn" (.gam). After you're done with your turn, "Send Turn" (.plr). Both of those files should be in Savegame directory.
