General information : The Nestor are a fictional species of alien humanoids depicted in the movie "Battle Beyond the Stars" by New World Pictures & Roger Corman. The shipset was developed from a slightly modified version of Kevin Arisa's Eneron shipset, with select custom images added as needed. It can be found at SE-IV Play-by-Web
Biological Description : The Nestor are a race composed entirely of cloned individuals. They are tall, hairless humanoids with pale white skin, dark eyes, and two-fingered hands with a single opposing thumb. Nestor are completely genderless, having removed any genetic traits of male or female ages ago. All Nestor are psychically linked, and what one Nestor experiences or learns, all Nestor everywhere experience and learn. They are thought to possess other psychic abilities beyond telepathy.
Society Description : The Nestor Commonality operates as a single unified hive mind, with any and all decisions made unanimously. Their is no specific hierarchy within the society, save where needed to interact with alien species who need such designations.
General History Description : Eons ago, the Nestor weren't very different from typical humanoids. Then they developed cloning technology and proceeded to change themselves as a whole. The unforeseen result of this was that as a race they became stagnant and bored, and ultimately reached outward to the stars the discover new things and new experiences.
