Neostandard (SEIV)

The NeoStandard is a set of vehicle hull names which is a superset of stock SE4 vehicle hull names. It is not a mod per se, but rather a standard that modders and shipset creators can use to maximize the overlap between the available images in a shipset and the hull names used by the mod. For instance, suppose a MOO2-based mod wanted to create a Doom Star hull, a Star Wars mod wanted to create a Death Star hull, and a Galactic Civilizations based mod wanted to create a Terror Star hull. Those are all examples of "big spherical moon-sized ship", so they can all use the NeoStandard Worldship image. Imagine the chaos among shipset creators if each mod called for its own specialized hulls - the poor artists would be up to their necks just trying to keep up with a handful of mods!
