General information : The Judoon are a fictional species from the Dr Who television series. The shipset was developed from a slightly modified version of Katchoo's Nuwam shipset, with select custom images added as needed. It can be found at SE-IV Play-by-Web
Biological Description : The Judoon are two-meter tall rhinoceros-like humanoids with a stocky, thickset build. They have large lungs to help with breathing even in environments with low levels of oxygen. They have poor sight but excellent hearing and olfactory capacity. They evolved on a world with a higher gravity, making them exceptionally resilient and hardy, as well as extremely hard to kill.
Society Description : Judoon are aggressive, brutal, and methodical. They are a militaristic race dedicated to the pursuit of order, though strictly by their own definition of it. Their society is organized into a rigid military structure, and is led by an elected Magistrate. The Magisrate is elected by a council of peers, and usually the highest ranking and most successful military leader is chosen for the position.
General History Description : The Judoon were once a peaceful agrarian race, but they were conquered by a more powerful neighboring race of warriors. They eventually learned all they could from them and overthrew their conquerors, adopting their warlike ways in the process. They took to the stars and sought to create their own empire.
