Dominae

The Dominae Empire is the empire used by player 2 in Space Empires II if player 2 is AI-controlled. The Dominae use a shipset which apparently inspired the Amonkrie shipset in SEIV and SEV.

The SEII races had no backstory, but the word "dominae" is the posssessive form of the word "domina" in Latin, which means "female ruler", so it appears that the Dominae may have been a matriarchal society.
