Confed

The Confed Empire is a shipset designed for Space Empires IV by James Demacek, and inspired by Wing Commander. Their AI files are a little sparse, but they appear to be human.

There are at least two versions of this shipset in circulation:

• Version 1.1, uploaded to PBW by Gideon, uses borrowed and recoloured images from other shipsets (notably the Praetorian) and uses the stock Terran shipset race portrait.

• The version of the Confed included in the Shipset Megapack and hosted on State of the Art Shipyards has a more varied set of image sources, with a new (but still human) race portrait. It lacks a version number, but would seem to be more recent thatn 1.1
