Atmosphere (SEIV)

Atmosphere in Space Empires 4 is a component of both a planet and empire's characteristics. There are 5 atmosphere types in the game:
Atmosphere types in SE4 are hard-coded, and cannot be modded.
Atmospheres in SE4 are important in determing if a colony will be domed or not. Only planets that are breathable to the occupant population will provide the maximum amount of facility slots, Cargo space, and population. A mixed population with different breathers will always have domed colonies.
In SE4, you can change the atmosphere of a planet using atmospheric modification plants to the atmosphere type of the majority population.
