Alpha is a shipset designed for Space Empires IV. It is based on the cult TV series 'Space 1999', in which the inhabitants of moonbase alpha find themselves and the moon they occupy ripped out of Earth's orbit and transported to some distant part of space. As you would expect from humans, the inhabitants of Alpha like rock oxygen worlds.
